First time: Set up your Coinbase receiving wallet

you only need to do this once

  1. Sign up for a Coinbase account at coinbase.com (or via the app)
  2. In Coinbase tap Receive
  3. Tap the default wallet, search for and select “Optimism”
  4. Tap Copy to copy the address (make sure this is the Optimism address)
  5. In Rainbow tap Send
  6. Paste the address and hit Save
  7. Give this address a memorable name like “Coinbase OP”
